Gerald Crabb is regarded in gospel music as one of the most respected and revered songwriters of his time. In 1996, he and rest of The Crabb Family took gospel music by storm with their strong messages, and powerful vocals. As the younger family members grew into their roles and matured in spirit and ability, Gerald decided it would be time to separate from the group and focus on his own ministry. Since that time, Gerald has been traveling all over the country preaching and singing for Jesus Christ. He has a special way of communicating with and relating to others through his songwriting. The Dove Award winning song “Sometimes I Cry” applies to many Christians today. No matter how much it may seem like a person has it all together, everyone still has times of hurt and pain in their lives. Yet another he is well known for writing, “Through The Fire”, tells of how even in the most trying of times, the Lord is always there to help you and bring you through. The Lord has used Gerald to touch the lives of many people all across the country, and even the world. The great thing about Gerald though, is that he gives all of the glory to the Lord, Jesus Christ.
